Niko se tome nije protivio, nikada nisam čula glas pobune i kako je vrijeme prolazilo postalo je normalno da danju, u toj sobi, budem kadija - muško, a u svakoj drugoj prilici Fatima - žena.“ „Ono što je uslijedilo bilo je neobičnije od svega što sam do tada u životu doživio jer nakon mistično i nerazgovijetno izgovorenih riječi pred nama se ukaza grupa divova toliko velikih da su zaklanjali pogled na nekoliko bijelih oblaka koji su plovili jarko plavim nebom. Od tutnja njihovog hoda zemlja se tresla, a nakon svakog udara njihovih stopala o tlo iz plavih cvjetova polijetala bi jata malih svijetlosmeđih ptica. Leperenje njihovih krila stvaralo je zvuk nalik onome kojega proizvodi rad veš mašine, a kretale su se u jatima koja su podsjećala na grupisanje riba u moru.“
