Zbornik radova u čast našeg uglednog bibličara fra Ivana Dugandžića u prigodi 70. obljetnice njegova života okupio je brojne domaće i inozemne bibličare i teologe koji su svojim znanstvenim člancima počastili znanstvenika i dali prinos teološkoj misli i istraživanju, čemu je dr. Duganžić posvetio čitav svoj radni vijek. Uz dvadesetak knjiga i više od stotinu znanstvenih i stručnih članaka te mnoštvo znanstveno-popularnih članaka, više izvrsnih prijevoda slavljenik je, uza svoje svećeničke i redovničke obveze, obogatio i zadužio našu crkvenu i društvenu zajednicu. U Zborniku je donesena bibliografska nota Gorana Azinovića u kojoj se iscrpno upoznajemo s Dugandžićevom bibliografijom te, već spomenutih, dvadeset i osam članaka raznih autora, razvrstanih okvirno prema sadržaju u dvije skupine. Oni strože vezani uz Bibliju i njezino znanstveno proučavanje svrstani su pod naslov „Egzegetsko-teološki radovi“, a oni kojima je Biblija nadahnuće i referentna točka razmišljanja svrstani su pod naslov „Biblija - duša teologije i pastorala“. Zbornik je izišao kao suizdanje Hercegovačke franjevačke provincije Uznesenja BDM iz Mostara i Kršćanske sadašnjosti.
