Pozvali su me, službeno. U četvrtak točno u deset. Pozivaju me sve češće: u utorak točno u deset, u subotu točno u deset, u srijedu ili ponedjeljak. Godine kao da su tjedan i već se čudim što nakon kasnog ljeta ponovno dolazi zima. Preko ograda pokraj puta što vodi do tramvaja opet vise grmovi bijelih bobica. Poput puceta od sedefa, prišivenih dolje, možda i za samo tlo, ili poput kuglica zgnječena kruha. Za bijele ptičje glavice nakrivljenih kljunova bobice su premalene, ali unatoč tomu ne mogu ne misliti na bijele ptičje glavice. Od toga vam se zavrti. Radije mislim na snježne točkice u travi, ali od toga se čovjek osjeća izgubljeno, a od krede pospano. Tramvaj ne vozi po ustaljenom voznom redu. Meni se čini da tramvaj šušti, osim ako to nisu tvrdi listovi jablanova. Već dolazi, danas ga ne moram čekati. Starca sa slamnatim šeširom odlučila sam pustiti da uđe prije mene. Kad sam došla, on je već stajao na tramvajskoj stanici, tko zna koliko dugo. Slabunjav nije, ali je mršav poput vlastite sjene, pogrbljen i blijed. Hlače na stražnjici i kukovima prazne su, samo su na koljenima ispupčene.
