Monografija na hrvatskom i engleskom jeziku donosi dosad najmanje istraženi dio opusa kiparice Vere Dajht-Kralj koji obuhvaća dvadesetak skulptura, bista, reljefa i spomeničkih obilježja, te više od trideset natječajnih projekata za javnu plastiku većinom na području Hrvatske, ali i Makedonije, Slovenije, Srbije, Kanade, Demokratske Republike Kongo i Švicarske. Uz izvedene skulpture obrađeni su brojni nerealizirani natječajni projekti i prijedlozi koji se po prvi puta prezentiraju javnosti, a koji obuhvaćaju vremenski raspon od 1954. do 2008. godine. Idejne skice, crteži, makete, natječajni projekti, skulpture i pjesme ilustriraju idejni razvoj kiparičinih vizualnih, ali i misaonih istraživanja te su prezentirani kao važan dio procesa rada na koncipiranju skulpture u javnom prostoru. Monografija i istoimena izložba predstavljaju završnu fazu višegodišnjeg istraživačkog rada te su dio šireg projekta arhivske i digitalne obrade, te konzervacije i restauracije Zbirke Vere Dajht-Kralj, koja je preventivno zaštićena kao kulturno dobro Republike Hrvatske. Cilj je projekta, koji se provodi u okviru Živog Ateljea DK i u kojem sudjeluje tim stručnjaka i studenata povijesti umjetnosti, muzeologije i restauracije, sačuvati ostavštinu od propadanja i učiniti je vidljivom i trajno dostupnom široj publici.
