Ova društveno i medijski eksponirana tema, prikazana kroz znanstvenu kriminološku i sociološku statistiku nudi uvid u stanje na terenu kroz iscrpnu analizu kriminoloških osobitosti počinitelja i žrtava nasilja, modalitete izvršenja te odluke tijela kaznenog postupka uz izrečene sankcije, pokazujući realnu sliku hrvatskog društva u proteklih desetak godina do danas. Kriminologija delikata nasilja sadržava radove eminentnih stručnjaka s područja socijalne pedagogije, prava, psihologije, defektologije, kriminologije i kriminalistike, čiji bi rezultati, popraćeni brojnim tablicama i grafovima, u budućnosti mogli svojom dokumentarnošću pomoći mnogim državnim službama, ustanovama te vladinim i nevladinim udrugama u projektiranju mjera prevencije te zaustavljanju nasilja nad ženama i djecom.
