Akademik Ivan Aralica u najnovijoj knjizi progovara najotvorenije dosad o komunističkom mentalitetu u Hrvatskoj, a glavni lik knjige jest bivši predsjednik Stjepan Mesić. Aralica je proteklih godina objavio nekoliko romana s ključem (Ambra, Fukara, Svetinka, Puž) u kojima je pisao o komunističkom mentalitetu, ali pravi identiteti osoba koji su protagonisti tih knjiga bili su zamijenjeni pseudonimima. Mesić se pronašao u romanima i žestoko se krenuo obračunavati s Aralicom, čije je romane prozvao političkim pamfletima, i ne samo on. A Mesić mu je bio predložak za stvaranje jednog od protagonista u književnim djelima koja govore o komunističkom mentalitetu. Aralica je ovu knjigu napisao kako bi dokazao da pamflete nije pisao. Knjiga više nije roman s ključem, jer je Mesić ovaj put imenom i prezimenom glavni protagonist ove knjige.
