U svom životnom putu nastojao sam biti svoj, ne povoditi se za drugim ljudima i njihovim životnim putovima. Nikad nisam bio siguran da sam suočen s teškim dvojbama donio ispravnu odluku. Pri donošenju odluka uvijek su me mučile brojne dvojbe te se može reći da se u mojoj savjesti odvijao stalni „sudski proces" u kojem sam istovremeno sam sebi bio i tužitelj i okrivljeni i sudac i porota. Često sam presudu odnosno odluku donosio jednim glasom većine te sam često mislio, nakon što sam donio odluku, da sam trebao postupiti drukčije. Danas mislim da su mnoge moje odluke bile pogrešne iako sam bio uvjeren da su izvrsne kada sam ih donosio. I obrnuto, naknadno sam spoznao da su bile dobre neke odluke koje sam smatrao pogrešnima. Dakle, u različitim uvjetima, u različitim razdobljima života iste sam stvari različito ocjenjivao. Mislim da je to normalno i razumljivo jer se i moja svijest razvijala, jer sam širio svoje spoznaje i stjecao nova znanja, jer sam dublje prodirao u svoju podsvijest i jer sam širio svoje horizonte. Kada danas čitam neke bilješke iz svoga Dnevnika napisane prije pedeset ili trideset godina, čini mi se da to nisam ja napisao, da je to pisao neki meni potpuno nepoznat čovjek....
