U neko, ne baš tako davno, prošlo savršeno vrijeme – kako ga naziva Ivica Ivanišević – moglo se mnogo toga što je danas teško zamisliti. Moglo se, recimo, stići od Europe do Amerike u samo tri i pol sata, i bez Googlea saznati sve o svakome, naći se s prijateljima bez prethodnih 505 poruka… Bilo je to vrijeme kad je naš svijet bio kudikamo prostraniji, tajnovitiji, izazovniji, a veća od svijeta bila je samo naša žudnja da ga upoznamo, da o njemu učimo. U svojim kratkim, ubojito točnim, duhovitim i mrvicu nostalgičnim zapisima Ivica Ivanišević nas podsjeća na ono što nam danas izmiče čak i iz sjećanja. Jer tehnologija nam je donijela mnogo toga dobrog, ali nam je ponešto i oduzela – umijeće radovanja, na primjer. I umjesto da sažalijevamo one koji se šašavo raznježe na crno-bijele filmove, plastične mantile i Vespe, možda treba sažalijevati one koji na sve to samo odmahuju rukom. Zazirati od prošlosti mogu samo ljudi koji pomalo zaziru i od sebe samih, od toga kakvi su nekoć bili, i kakvi uistinu jesu.
