About the Book

Radovan Tajder rođen je 1945. godine u Zagrebu. Godine 1970. diplomirao je na Arhitektonskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Zagrebu. Radio je kao odgovorni projektant u birou Didaktainvest od 1971. do 1977. godine. Od 1977. godine radi u projektnom birou Osnova. Od sredine ’80.-ih seli u Beč te se zapošljava kao voditelj Odjela za idejno projektiranje u arhitektonskom uredu Hlaweniczka & Partner. Godine 1994. prelazi u arhitektonski ured HD Architekten. Njegovi radovi obuhvaćaju više od tri stotine studija, natječajnih radova i projekata izrađenih samostalno ili s koautorima. Od toga je devedesetak realizirano. Važniji radovi prikazani su na nizu skupnih izložbi u zemlji i inozemstvu. Tajder je dobitnik gotovo svih važnijih nagrada za arhitekturu: Nagrade grada Zagreba 1977., Nagrade Vladimir Nazor 1983., Borbine nagrade 1985., posebne nagrade Zagrebačkog salona u rangu Velike nagrade 1997., nagrade UHA-e Drago Galić 1999., nagrade UHA-e Viktor Kovačić za životno djelo 2019., posebnog priznanja časopisa Borba 1984, posebnog priznanja Piranesi 1989., priznanja beogradskog Salona arhitekture 1990., priznanja Zagrebačkog salona Arhitektima u dijaspori 1991.
