Zbirka pjesama Tonka Maroevića s crtežima Jasenke Bulj predstavlja zenovsku otvorenost pjesničke riječi i likovnu neposrednost crtačko-slikarske pratnje, duhom i vedrinom prožet odnos sadržaja i forme. Radi se o posveti trima rimskim carevima koji su bitno utjecali i na našu sudbinu: Neronu, Hadrijanu i Dioklecijanu u formi dječje literature. Zato je i odabran naslov: Tricarije, iako se ne radi o manje vrijednoj, manje umjetničkoj poeziji. Maroević je pjesme pisao svome malenom sinu želeći kod njega pobuditi ljubav prema zavičaju i prema pisanju poezije na najljepši mogući način - izazivajući ga, nudeći mu slike i priče koje postaju bliske, koje postaju dio vlastitog iskustva. Notes s pjesmama i crtežima tako postaje jedinstven dragulj posvećen obitelji, Caru, Palači, Splitu, Otocima, Mediteranu, Svijetu u kojem se osjeća izvorni misterij mjesta, događaja, vremena, dijaloškim iskrenjem rekreirajuće punoće životnih situacija protagonista i sljednika.
