Knjiga “Turizam u Istri od davnina do danas” pulskog novinara i urednika Asima Čabaravdića koji je na ovom velikom projektu, koji je trajao čak četiri godine, okupio 41 autora, od ministara i direktora najvažnijih tvrtki do novinara i drugih autora. Svi oni pod paskom urednika Čabaravdića doprinijeli su ovom istarskom mozaiku u kojem je turizam prikazan od davnih antičkih putovanja i pojave suvremenog turizma u 19. stoljeću pa sve do današnjeg doba u kojemu turizam više nije puko odmaranje i besplosličarenje, nego proaktivan boravak u destinaciji uz zadovoljavanje ne samo smještajnih nego i niza drugih potreba suvremenih nomada, od kulturnih i sportsko-rekreacijskih do edukativnih i zdravstvenih.
