»Sonja Delimar svoju zbirku pjesama Biti ili ne biti (svoja) zasniva na zanimljivome konceptu, kako sama kaže u podnaslovu, „poetskih dijaloga s hrvatskim autorima“, i to od amblematičnoga Marka Marulića („oca“ hrvatske književnosti), sve do današnjih, pa i najmlađih autora (najmlađi je Franjo Nagulov, rođen 1983. godine). Upravo bi dijalog mogao biti i ključna riječ autoričine poetike u ovoj knjizi, bolje rečeno, komunikacija koja se najčešće i zbiva u dijalogu, makar taj dijalog može podrazumijevati i razgovor koji lirski subjekt ima sa samim sobom. Komunikacija, odnosno dijalog u toj poeziji događa se doslovno sa svim što autorica uopće može čulno ili inteligibilno percipirati. Dijalog je to s pjesmama, ali i s nekim drugovrsnim djelima mnoštva hrvatskih književnika, svim predmetnotematskim, motivskim, versifikacijskim i kompozicijskim razinama njihovih pjesama, teoretskim razmišljanjima o poeziji, vlastitim egzistencijalnim i emotivnim situacijama te spoznajnim matricama. Komunikacija je to s Bogom, svemirom, prirodom i urbano-kulturnim fenomenima, dijalog lirskoga subjekta s pjesmom unutar koje se nalazi, kao i metatekstualne svijesti same sa sobom o karakteru pjesme i procesu njezina nastanka.
