Milan Mirić se u kratkom ali ambicioznom književnom uratku od svega 80-ak kartica uhvatio velike teme i još veće političke zagonetke: povijest i trauma hrvatske crno-crvene podjele. Zamišljenim dijalozima između Augusta Cesarca i njegova isljednika Božidara Cerovskog autor je pokušao saldirati stare ustaško-komunističke poveznice i razmirice (likvidacije) te kroz dva (izrazito književna) dijaloga dijagnosticirati problem i fragmentarno dočarati političko-povijesne koordinate dva zločina egzekucija. Mirić nastoji skicirati odgovor gdje točno povući tu crveno-crnu razdjelnicu tragedije hrvatskih prostora i hrvatskog nacionalnog korpusa te odgovoriti na pitanje, je li taj pakleni konac doista crno-crven ili se radi o uvijek istoj zarđaloj bodljikavoj žici koja je zaštitni znak svih nasilnih ideologija?
