Die Freiheit ist eins der Privilegien des hohen Alters, und auch Jeanne macht eigentlich nur, was sie will - sofern sie es noch kann: den Blumen beim Wachsen zusehen; Weißwein mit ihren Freundinnen trinken; sich über die Missgeschicke des exzentrischen Paars vom Nachbarhof freuen; sich im Liegestuhl beim Anblick der Sterne zu verlieren - in der Hoffnung, sie im nächsten Jahr noch einmal wiederzusehen. Und so schreiten wir mit Jeanne durch die Jahreszeiten, erleben mit ihr die glücklichen und auch die traurigen Momente des Lebens.
