Kad pročita knjigu Djeco, laku noć slovenačke spisateljice Ele Peroci, neko ko više nije dijete osjeti kako je prebrzo izašao iz topline dječijih maštanja i snova. Jednostavno, ova knjiga, namijenjena djeci mlađeg uzrasta, stalno drži svog čitaoca između jave i sna, između onoga što je moglo i onoga što se nikako nije moglo dogoditi. Po tome bismo rekli da su to bajke, a opet - nisu, jer u ovim pričama ima toliko toga iz svakodnevnog života... To znači da ne treba uvijek polaziti od gledišta odraslih i tražiti u svemu ustaljeni red. Stvari mogu biti i malo drugačije. Što da ne? Preko ovih priča ulazi se u jedan drugi svijet gdje je sve moguće, a ipak ne osjećamo da je to i neprirodno.
