Roman Dora sa sjenama, napisan iz očišta, žene u poznim devedesetim godinama života, bogata je panorama osobnih, obiteljskih, političkih i društvenih dogaĐanja u hrvatskoj obitelji i društvu 20. i početka 21. stoljeća. Introvertirana priroda glavnog lica romana Dore, kojoj je osobno obilježje biti promatrač i čekati da se život odvija mimo i protiv nje, omogućava joj da iz sigurnosti svoje platnene kupole, plahte ili pokrivača kojim se prekriva preko glave, pobjegne od stvarnosti, od okrutnosti vremena i povijesti u sigurnost svoje intime riznice uspomena, njezino zaklonište od neprijateljstva svijeta. Svjetionici kroz njezin proživljeni život su dva portreta oca i majke koji je prate, od kada je postala svjesna onoga što je okružuje. Redatelj, pisac, dragovoljac i diplomat Miroslav MeĐimorec (Zagreb, 1942.) diplomirao je komparativnu književnost i engleski jezik 1964, a kazališnu režiju 1973. Iste godine bio je na poslijediplomskom kazališnom studiju u Royal Shakespeare Company. Doktorirao je teatrologiju na FF u Zagrebu. Objavljuje drame, priče, romane, teatrološke tekstove i studije o domovinskom ratu. U izdanju AGM izdano mu je djelo Kostino pismo (Svrha od slobode).
