About the Book

Dr. sc. Jadranka Ivandić Zimić rođena je 15. veljače 1965. u Zavidovićima u Bosni i Hercegovini. Živi i radi u Zagrebu. Već 18 godina radi u području suzbijanja zlouporabe droga, a u svojoj je profesionalnoj karijeri radila i volontirala u nizu socijalnih i zdravstvenih ustanova te udruga. Svojim je prethodnim objavljenim naslovima pokazala zanimanje za široku paletu rodova i žanrova književnosti, od poezije, preko kratke priče, do pripovijedaka za djecu s poetskim nagnućima. Napisala je više od sto pjesama, tridesetak kratkih priča, kratki roman Praznina i zbirku priča za djecu i mlade Neobična jutra jedne obične Flekice koji su 2016. i 2018. objavljeni u nakladi “Edicije Božičević”. Njezina zbirka priča Zvala sam se Ljerka osvojila je I. nagradu na Anonimnom natječaju za najbolji prozni rukopis osječkog Ogranka Matice hrvatske za 2015. godinu, a u 2018. godini isti je nakladnik objavio proširenu inačicu navedene zbirke. Dio njezine poezije i proze objavljen je 2014. u zborniku Kluba kreativnih žena „Oberon“.
