About the Book
Globalna povijest okoliša obuhvaća vrlo zahtjevnu i široku problematiku međuodnosa prirode i čovjeka kroz čitavo razdoblje holocena, dakle od 10 000 godina pr. Kr. do današnjih dana. Važnija su mu djela: Ecology of Natural Resources (1974), Biogeography: Natural and Cultural (1979), Biogeographical Processes (Processes in Physical Geography) (1982), Changing the Face of the Earth: Culture, Environment, History (1989), Interpreting Nature: Cultural Constructions of the Environment (1993), The Environmental Impact of Later Mezolithic Cultures on the Moorlands of Britain (1996), Humanity and Environment: A Cultural Ecology (1997), An Environmental History of Great Britain: from 10 000 Years Ago to the Present (2001), The Moorlands of England and Wales (2003).
