About the Book

Za tekst o autoru ove knjige pobrinuo se dr. Slobodan Prosperov Novak u uvodu knjige, a za Pogovor na kraju knjige urednik Marko Jurič, dok je zahtjevna korektura pripala Domagoju Pintariću, a briga o opremi knjige povjerena je Davidu Iviću. Ovu, ne samo sadržajem interesantnu knjigu, povijesno edukativnu, već i izgledom lijepu, tiskao je Stega Tisak – Zagreb. Do prije tri godine sadržaj ove knjige mi je bio uglavnom nepoznat. Znao sam za neke bitne događaje koje su znali svi, no kakav je zaista bio život u državi u koju su 1918. prijevarom ugurali Hrvate, uglavnom mi nije bio poznat. Moja se neinformiranost mogla opravdati time da su neke knjige ili teme bile zabranjene, poput ove knjige prvi put tiskane 1942. i nakon Drugog svjetskog rata zabranjene. S obzirom na to da nisam povjesničar, niti sam se koncentrirao na razdoblje koje obrađuje knjiga (1918. – 1941.) koja opisuje povijest nezakonitog braka između Hrvatske i Srbije, promaklo mi je drugo izdanje knjige iz 1992. koje je bio uredio dr. Hrvoje Matković u izdanju Školske knjige.
