Odlaze na planinarenje i ondje doživljavaju brojne pustolovine koje ce im ostati u trajnom sjećanju i koje ih, što je još važnije, još dublje povezuju. Riječ je o jednoj od rijetkih knjiga koja se izravno bavi odnosom oca i djeteta, a namijenjena je djeci uzrasta od dvije do pet godina. Slikovnica nema popratni tekst, jer je zamišljena da je djeci ispripovijedaju sami roditelji (uz pomoć slika), čime se postiže još jedno povezivanje roditelja i djeteta. Autor slikovnice je Pete Oswald, nagrađivani američki ilustrator koji je sudjelovao u nastanku nekih od najpoznatijih animiranih filmova današnjice, poput Madagaskara, HotelaTransilvanije, Oblacno s cuftama te Angry Birds.
