Potpukovnik Korać je odličan svedok jer je bio na pravom mestu u pravo vreme: U Užicu septembra 1941, kada su ga napuštali Nemci i zaposedali komunisti; u borbama za oslobođenje Višegrada od ustaša oktobra 1941, gde se sretao sa majorima Dangićem i Boškom Todorovićem; u prvim borbama protiv partizana za Užice i Požegu novembra 1941… Bio je komandant Dražinog Zlatiborsko-užičkog četničkog odreda i ujedno Nedićev okružni načelnik Užičkog okruga. U gradovima se sretao sa Nedićem i Nemcima, a u selima sa Dragišom Vasićem i drugim Dražinim ljudima - sve dok ga u jesen 1942. nisu otkrili ljotićevci i prijavili Gestapou… Drugim rečima, Korać je bio baš tamo gde nam danas nedostaju svedoci. On je jedan od retkih svedoka nekomunista iz ‘’Užičke republike’’ (napustio je Užice dva dana pre početka građanskog rata), jedini koji do u detalje opisuje okruženje majora Vučka Ignjatovića i rasvetljava njegovo ubistvo, jedini koji opisuje opsadu Višegrada i jedini koji opisuje tzv. legalizaciju Dražinih četnika u upravnom aparatu Milana Nedića.
