Priložene su novele, unatoč njihovoj kratkoći, djela potpune vrijednosti. Njihova je prednost u tome što čovjek čitajući ih štedi vrijeme jer ne zahtijevaju pažnju od nekoliko tjedana ili mjeseci. Pročitajmo jednu Jednominutnu novelu dok se kuha jaje ili dok čekamo da se netko javi na telefonskom broju koji smo birali, a bio je zauzet. Loše raspoloženje ili nervoza nisu prepreka. Možemo ih čitati i dok sjedimo i dok stojimo, i kada puše vjetar i kada pada kiša, ili dok se vozimo u prepunom autobusu. U većini ih se može uživati i hodajući amo-tamo! Bitno je obratiti pažnju na naslove. Autor je težio kratkoći, dakle nije mogao dati naslove koji ništa ne govore. Prije ulaska u tramvaj pogledamo kamo vozi. Naslovi ovih novela njihov su sastavni dio koji je isto tako bitan. To, naravno, ne znači da je dovoljno čitati samo naslove. Najprije naslov, zatim tekst: to je jedini ispravan način uporabe. Pažnja! Onaj tko nešto nije shvatio, neka ponovno pročita sporno djelo. Ako ni nakon toga nije razumio, onda je pogreška u noveli. Ne postoje glupi ljudi, samo loše Jednominutne!
