Stil Senke Marić je poetičan i minimalističan, a pripovijedanje se ostvaruje realističkim prosedeom romana pisanog tijelom. Junakinja romana vodi privatni rat protiv bolesti, ali ovo nije knjiga samo o bolesti, nego je ovdje riječ o borbi za dostojanstvo, čulnost i eros. Nije dovoljno reći da je ovo zaista borben tekst, njegov užitak se krije i u poetskim opservacijama u kojima je potez hirurga ples kista po slikarskom platnu. Međutim, dovoljno je reći da je Kintsugi tijela hrabra knjiga pisana vlastitim iskustvom koje nam nudi toliko potrebnu nadu u pobjedu života nad smrću.“
