Objeručke prihvaća posao na tom izoliranom otoku kako bi pobjegla od svoje prošlosti i muškarca kojeg je nekoć voljela. Freddie Lloyd odslužio je kaznu za ubojstvo - a sada želi da mu se Felicity vrati. Gdje god bila, on neće stati sve dok je ne pronađe, stoga se ukrcava na zadnji ljetni brod koji polazi za Južnu Georgiju. Za to vrijeme psihijatar kojeg je Felicity zbog neobjašnjivih ozljeda i povremene amnezije posjećivala u Cambridgeu, istražuje pozadinu odnosa Felicity i Freddieja, te otkriva da je njihova prošlost tragičnija nego što je sama Felicity svjesna.
