Irska je zemlja pjesnika i legendi, zemlja sanjalica i pobunjenika. Uz sve njih veže se i glazba. Melodije za ples ili plakanje, za bitke ili ljubav. U davnim vremenima svirači bi putovali od mjesta do mjesta svirajući za obrok i konačište te nekoliko novčića koji bi možda pali u njihove dlanove.Svirači i seanachais - pripovjedači - bili su dobrodošli gdje god bi dolutali, u kolibu, konačište ili oko logorske vatre. Njihov dar bio je cijenjen Čak i na vilinskim splavima iza zelenih brda.Tako je i danas.Jednom, ne tako davno, pripovjedačica je došla u mirno selo blizu mora i tamo su je primili s dobrodošlicom. Tamo je našla svoje srce i dom.U tom selu živio je i svirač, tamo je našao dom i bio je njime zado voljan. No još je morao pronaći svoje srce.U glavi je stalno čuo glazbu. Ponekad je bila tiha i nježna poput Šapata ljubavnika. Nekad je bila glasna i puna smijeha, kao da vas u pubu stari prijatelj želi počastiti pivom. Mogla je biti polagana, brza ili puna suza očajnika. Takvu je glazbu čuo u glavi. I bilo mu je zado voljstvo slušati je.
