Rockmarkov prvi korak u devetu umjetnost predstavlja strip o grupi The Doors i njihovom albumu Morrison Hotel. Morrison Hotel peti je album legendarnog benda i objavljen je 1970. godine. Surađujući s preživjelim članovima benda (predgovor je napisao gitarist Robby Krieger) autorica Leah Moore napisala je jedanaest poglavlja inspiranih svakom od jedanaest pjesama s albuma, a poznata imena iz svijeta stripa dala su svoj umjetnički doprinos svakom od njih. Na 160 stranica stripa pjesme Doorsa poput Roadhouse Blues, Waiting for the Sun, Land Ho!, Indian Summer soundtrack su prosvjedima protiv rata u Vijetnamu, pokretima za građanska prava, podsjećaju na velike koncerte koje su Doorsi održali i događaje koji su obilježili bend, te još jednom potvrđuju utjecaj koji su Jim Morrison i The Doors imali na svoju i sve buduće generacije.
