ako, kot sem živela nekoč, sem izgorela; padla sem v hudo tesnobo, o čemer sem napisala tudi knjigo Na tesnobi. Če sem se hotela počutiti bolje, sem morala prevetriti misli, prepričanja in vzorce delovanja, ki so imeli globoke korenine. Zgraditi sem se morala na novo. Izbezala sem se iz cone udobja, kjer sem visela na nitki, saj sem se poganjala kot hrček na kolesu, ne da bi imela kaj od tega. Odločila sem se za svojo pot, ki je marsikdaj težja, vendar na njej gradim svoje sanje, in ne sanje drugih. V ospredje sem postavila ljubezen: do sebe, življenja in drugih. Dovolim si ranljivost in dovolim si biti jaz. Brez tega ni pristnega življenja. Ni pristnih odnosov. In ljudje brez njih ne zmoremo. O vsem tem govori ta knjiga. O tem, da se osebnostna rast nikoli ne konča. Da prihajajo novi in novi izzivi, mi pa se odločamo, kako se jih bomo lotili. Naš notranji svet precej vpliva na zunanjega. In človek, ki ve, kdo je, se sprejema in je enakopraven drugim, je na pravi poti. Ni lahko, vendar se da. Moč je v nas.
