Uzbudljiva priča o Eurídice i Guidi, dvjema odvažnim i upornim ženama koje će, u pokušaju da se izbore za emancipaciju u patrijarhalnom brazilskom društvu 1940-ih godina, vrlo brzo shvatiti da su sreća i ispunjenje za kojima žude skriveni na mjestima o kojima dotad nisu ni sanjale. Nevidljivi život Eurídice Gusmăo debitantski je roman brazilske autorice Marte Batalhe iz 2016. godine koji je ostvario veliki međunarodni uspjeh kod publike i kritike, a prema romanu je snimljen i film, premijerno prikazan 2019. na filmskom festivalu u Cannesu. U romanu se pripovijeda o životu sestara Euridice i Guide u Rio de Janeiru četrdesetih godina dvadesetog stoljeća, u vrijeme kad su se žene u Brazilu tek trebale izboriti za svoja prava. Potisnute u oblast doma i kućanskih poslova, žene su bile „nevidljive“ kako u brazilskoj književnosti tako i u društvu. Marta Batalha pokušava ispraviti tu nepravdu stvarajući galeriju dojmljivih ženskih likova kao što su Euridice i Guida Gusmao, Zelia, Ana, Das Dores i Eulalia, ali i ispisujući fascinantnu kroniku brazilskog društva tih godina i mačizma koji je u njemu vladao.
