Odžak pouka povijesti sadrži predavanja koja su održana u Odžaku 24. svibnja 2007. godine na znanstvenom skupu pod nazivom Da im spomen očuvamo. U ovaj Zbornik je uvrštena i propovijed mons. Mile Bogovića koju je izrekao 25. svibnja 2007. u Euharistijskom slavlju na spomen groblju u Posavskoj Mahali. Zborniku je pridodan i dokumentarni film u kojem živi svjedoci tih događaja govore o svojim osobnim stradanjima kao i stradanjima svoje rodbine i susjeda. Spomenuti znanstveni skup, premijera filma i Euharistija bili su sastavni dio programa 10. dana sjećanja na stradanje hrvatskih branitelja i civila na koncu Drugog svjetskog rata u odžačkom - modričkom kraju. Organizatori ovih Dana sjećanja bili su HKD Napredak podružnica Odžak, Hrvatski institut za povijest Slavonije, Srijema i Baranje iz Slavonskog Broda uz suradnju sa župama Doborskog dekanata (područje općina Modrica i Odžak).
