U povodu 80. obljetnice rođenja Igora Zidića organiziran je u Matici hrvatskoj 2019. godine simpozij na kojemu je velik broj povjesničara umjetnosti, književnih kritičara, likovnih kritičara, jezikoslovaca, slikara i intelektualaca raščlanilo pojedine segmente diversificiranoga stvaralačkoga opusa i javnog djelovanja Igora Zidića. Ovaj zbornik radova, objavljen pod uredničkom palicom Milana Bešlića i Božidara Petrača, donosi petnaest tekstova, koji ocrtavaju raznovrsni i višeslojni stvaralački portret Igora Zidića te u obliku ne samo stručnih rasprava nego i dovitljivih i pronicavih eseja te književnih sličica prikazuju Zidićeve intelektualne obzore, a posebno njegov nesvakidašnji pristup u promišljanju likovnih umjetnosti, kao i Zidićevo izvorno pjesničko stvaralaštvo. Autori priloga su: Tonko Maroević, Biserka Rauter Plančić, Sandra Križić Roban, Ernest Fišer, Stjepan Damjanović, Davor Šalat, Milan Bešlić, Ivan Rogić Nehajev, Željko Marcijuš, Igor Loinjak, Stipe Botica, Božidar Petrač, Ervin Dubrović, Iva Körbler i fra Vendelin Karačić. U zbornik je uvrštena i opsežna bibliografija knjiga, tekstova i izložbi koje je napisao i priredio Igor Zidić, a koju je sastavila Anabel Zanze.
