Sasvim obična, toliko česta ljudska sudbina. A svaka od njih jedan je roman. Poput ovoga. O ženi koja je dvadesetak godina provela u braku bez ljubavi, bez poštovanja, bez djece, u braku jalovom i besmislenom. Karikaturi. No tobogan njenog života u posljednjem trenutku vinuo se prema novoj petlji kroz koju su zasjale zrake ljubavi i začuo se dječji smijeh. Umjesto starog prokletog, novi je život proklijao i u njoj.Marcijane Malitiću, kada ujutro otvoriš oči, baciš prvo pogled na sat na svom noćnom ormariću, razbudiš se i spustiš noge u uredno složene papuče, mene više neće biti. Ti sigurno dosta dugo nećeš ni primijetiti da nisam nazočna. To me ne čudi. Pratit ćeš zvukove i glasove s ulice, vijesti na radiju, djeliće tvog mogućeg jutarnjeg sna za koji sam se uvijek pitala kakav je. Jer san bi trebao biti nastavak, imitacija ili nadomjestak stvarnog života. Kod mene se san pretvarao u noćnu moru… Tako počinje roman Tobogan života, roman o ženi koja je dvadesetak godina provela u braku bez ljubavi, bez poštovanja, bez djece, u braku jalovom i besmislenom. Karikaturi. No tobogan njenog života u posljednjem trenutku vinuo se prema novoj petlji kroz koju su zasjale zrake ljubavi i začuo se dječji smijeh. Umjesto starog prokletog, novi je život proklijao i u njoj.
