A zatim, neočekivano, stiže šifrirana poruka Kivine obitelji: Ne dopusti da umre. Dolazimo. Svjesna da će suđenja ubiti bolesnu kraljicu, Kiva riskira svoj život preuzimanjem njezine kazne. Ako uspije, i ona i kraljica bit će slobodne. No nitko nikad nije preživio.
