Nova knjiga Radova Biblioteke Latina et Graeca: Homerološke studije Zlatana Čolakovića. Knjiga donosi detaljan uvid i osvrt na ono što je među klasičnim filolozima poznato kao „homersko pitanje“ obrađeno na temelju tradicije epskog pjesništva na prostoru bivše Jugoslavije. Naime, Čolaković je na Harvardu stekao uvid u golemu riznicu zabilježenog usmenog pjesništva koju je Milman Parry prikupio na prostoru bivše Jugoslavije tijekom prošloga stoljeća, a zatim je obavio reviziju svih prikupljenih podataka, te na kraju sam iznio vlastite zaključke o razvoju epskog pjesništva. Na početku knjige autor donosi i razlaže usporedbu tradicijskog i post-tradicijskog pjevača epskih pjesama, a zatim u nastavku izlaže poseban osvrt na „homersko pitanje“. Knjiga, između ostalog, donosi priču o Međedovićevom kazivanja o svom životu, pjesmama i pjevačima, odnosno njegovu autobiografiju. Predstavlja nam i najpoznatiju Avdovu pjesmu Ženidbu Smailagić Meha prvi put objavljenu daleke 1974. g. od strane Alberta Lorda na engleskom i bosanskom jeziku. Nadalje, obrađuje radove o Parryjevom rukopisu Pitanja u Bijelom Polju, zatim Kronologiju sakupljanja pjesama Avda Međedovića 1935. godine te rječnik Međedovićeve epike. Knjiga sadrži i dodatke s katalozima i ekfrazama, indekse i opsežnu bibliografiju kojom se autor koristio.
